Will and Ashley met via online dating app BLK. Their first conversation lasting hours until the sun began to greet them both. After a conversation so captivating, Will wanted to act fast and KNEW a first date had to happen upon her return from vacation and before she had to go to IL for work for the next two weeks. During their first date, they scheduled the second date and haven't stopped "dating" since! It became pretty evident early on how the stars were aligning for this couple. Will and Ashley became exclusive. Exclusive turned into a surprise engagement in March 2025 where Ashley said "YES!!".

To our dearest family and friends, We are writing to share some unexpected news — we have made the decision to cancel our upcoming wedding on August 8, 2026. First and foremost, please know that we are doing well and are as strong as ever as a couple. Circumstances in our lives have shifted in ways we could not have anticipated, and after careful consideration, we felt this was the right decision for us right now. We are so sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you. We know many of you have made travel arrangements, taken time off, and gone out of your way to celebrate with us — and that means the world to us.
